A Little Bit About Me

Click here to learn a little more about me and my favorite things.

Meet the Teacher
Hello and welcome to third grade!  My name is Ms. Weishaar, and I am extremely excited to have you in our class this school year!  It is going to be a wonderful year filled with so many new things.  I hope that you are excited to see what is in store for us!  During our first days of class, I am going to have the opportunity to learn all about you; however, I would like to take a few minutes to share a little bit about myself.

I was born and raised in New England.  Yet, surprising to most, I never developed a love for seafood.  In fact, I may be the only New Englander that does not enjoy lobster and other shell fish.J  I later moved to Rhode Island for college and back to Connecticut for graduate school.  After completing my Masters in the Art of Teaching, a college friend and I moved to Maryland to begin our teaching careers.  While in Maryland, I taught fifth grade and later third grade.  With a love of good, southern sweet tea and southern hospitality, my family and I moved to Greenville County.  Downtown Greenville and the quieter pace of life captured our hearts!  My son Devin is now a rising fifth grader and my daughter Kaylee is an eighteen years old… going on eightteen.  My family and friends are such a special part of my life, and you will hear much more (than they probably care for me to share) as we learn more about each other.
I am delighted to be your teacher and I look forward to learning along with you.  I know that this will be a fantastic school year!

Here are just a few of my favorite things:

Color: Blue
Drink: Sweet Tea
Food: Brick Oven Pizza
